Our research is focused on developing brain-tailored deep learning theories, architectures, and algorithms to capture and characterize the perceptual as well as cognitive activities inside human brains, and as a result, we are able to visualize such a process in still images or videos via GAN-based approaches. A schematic system illustration of our desired research is given below in part-(a). In reality, however, it is extremely challenging to capture the brain activities in its wild state. Correspondingly, we let our test subjects to see something (stimulus images) in order to narrow down the wildness a bit and provide sort of guideline for our deep learning and capture, for which the schematic illustration is shown in part (b).
